The Central NJ Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will be hosting its 3rd Annual Freshman Send-off on Sunday, August 8th from 12:00 -- 3:00 pm at Turkey Swamp Park in Freehold.

This is a great opportunity for the Class of 2014 to meet other incoming Freshman in the Central NJ Area. In addition, the chapter will be awarding a $1,500 scholarship at the event.

If you are a current student or Alum, it is a great opportunity to share your Penn State experience with incoming Freshman and their family.

Not only will you be sending off our Penn Staters in style, but, by bringing a donation of school supplies, you could also help those less fortunate be prepared and excited to start their year as well.  All donations will be provided to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen for distribution.

We will provide lunch, soft drinks, water, snacks and dessert. In addition, we will have PSU giveways and a raffle for two tickets to a PSU Home Football game (all proceeds from the raffle benefit our Chapter Scholarship Fund).
